Working with the Alleycats for over 5 years, Reuben is now one of our key editors. His credits include BBC1's World's Oldest Family (co-edit), Keepin' Er Country / Stetsons & Stilettos (BBC1 NI / RTE), Bullet Men (BBC1 NI). Most recently he has completed work on People's Painters(BBCNI), The Borrowers (RTE) and Real Life Superheroes (BBC Our Lives / BBCNI). When not in an edit he can be found in the dark corners of his garage trying to create the perfect beer. Unsuccessfully thus far.
CIARAN O'HAGAN
EDIT ASSISTANT AND POST PRODUCTION
Ciaran is the Alleycats Edit Assistant. Since joining in 2016 he has worked across most of our productions in some capacity, from Keepin' Er Country and Pop Pride and Prejudice to The Borrowers and Real Life Superheroes. He also heads up the Alleycats graphics department and is currently training to become the Alleycats next in house Editor. A “Jack of all trades” he can be found on the fairways of his local golf course at every opportunity he gets.
Chris Vaughan
PRODUCER DIRECTOR
Chris works in development at Alleycats. A graduate of the NI Screen 'Aim High' Production Trainee Scheme, he is a Self-Shooting Producer/Director and has experience working across a variety of genres - including factual, entertainment, drama and young people's programming.
When away from work he is most likely to be found trying to keep up with both the latest film releases and his two young sons. Neither very successfully...
DUANA FORREST
RESEARCHER
Duana joined Alleycats in Spring 2018 as a production trainee before rapidly progressing to Researcher. Since joining she has worked on everything from archaeology, art and history, to cosplay and credit unions. When she isn't working on the various projects at Alleycats, she's doing a bit of her own research to discover new films and TV programmes to obsess over.
GEMMA GILLESPIE
POST PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Gemma works in the post production side of things at Alleycats. After 3 years working with edits, IT and paperwork in Dublin she came home to join the cats. At times one of her most used phrases is “have you tried turning it off and on again?”
When she can’t be found staring at a screen she probably has her nose in some reading material, or at the nearest comic con…
HAYLEY QUINNELL
TRAINEE RESEARCHER
Hayley joined Alleycats in summer 2019 through a Channel 4 training scheme to become a TV researcher. When she isn’t working with Alleycats Hayley enjoys shooting and editing her own GoPro videos.
LEANA ARRELL
RESEARCHER
Leana is happy to get stuck into various stages of the production process, from research in development to post-production paperwork, but her strengths lie in writing. Having spent a few years living in both Canada and Australia, she returned home in 2018 and became an Alleycat at the start of 2019, where she is being trained up in numerous areas.
ROBBIE NOLAN
POST-PRODUCTION TRAINEE
One of the newest cats, Robbie recently upped sticks to come join us as our official post-production assistant. When not buried under a mound of paperwork Robbie tells us he enjoys "movies, art, theatre, that sort of thing"
